Maria Goch

I am an enthusiastic, self-taught artist who started painting at a young age. I grew up in Poland, where I was born in 1958. In 1983 I received a degree in teaching from WSP College in Poland. After I graduated I began to teach in elementary schools and shortly after, I came to the U.S. 

I spend most of my creative energy working with oil paints. Dancing and music are some of my inspirations for my pieces. I have worked hard to develop, what I consider to be my own unique style based off of cubism. Using geometric shapes found in nature and expressive emotions in color I create my figuratively themed pieces.

In 2001 and 2004 I have had exhibitions in the Polish Community Hall in Tacoma and in 1985 in Latina, Italy.
