Toshiko Hasegawa

artistHaving most interests in contemporary abstract art, I studied and created abstract paintings. Recently I started painting still life, animals, landscape and flowers. I apply layers of oil paint on canvas to bring deeper color. I also use glass beads, wax and plaster on canvas and create unique texture which produces various phases reflecting the light. Creating the harmony of colors shapes and textures is the goal of my work.
