Lena Leitzke
Artist
Statement
Russian born, Ukrainen citizen, I came to the US in 2000.
In 2001 I became a member of Parklane Gallery, which helped me to grow as an artist faster and discover myself in many different styles and technicques from large scale to miniatures, from abstracts to realism, from portraits to landscapes and from flowers to romantic couples, ballerinas and dancers.
I guess, I am that rare individual who likes to challenge oneself in all possible styles and themes just to prove that one can be self tought in everything.
While I am discovering art secrets and techniques on my own and finding that incredibly exciting and successful, yet I have my up and downs: I can be rejected from one show and sell my rejected painting almost right away from another show. Which keeps me going confidant. I love Art and Art loves me back
