Darlene Gentry Lucas

For the last 35 years, I
have taught weaving, watercolor and the computer as fine art. Themes
for my paintings have focused on the overlapping of the natural
world on Earth with the most recent ideas of Time, Motion and the
Cosmos. Symbols such as grids, botanicals, bubbles, branes and
nebulas are used to image these relationships. I am primarily a
watercolorist, but I will use any media or technique in combination
with watercolors to realize my paintings.
