fascination with photography began in fifth grade with a Kodak
Brownie camera on a trip to Glacier National Park, continued in high
school botany class projects and at Oberlin Conservatory of Music as
(un)official photographer for touring music groups. A brief stint
doing children's photos on location gave impetus for an interest in
portraits and subsequent wedding photography. Another recent
opportunity was architectural photography, working with an interior
designer and a residential building contractor.
Other activities enjoyed are bicycling, backpacking, woodworking,
and too many hours refining computer skills.
Photographs are taken with a Fuji, Canon, Olympus or Nikon Digital
camera. Images are edited with Adobe Photoshop and printed on
archival paper.
