JANUARY SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: CJ Peltz
CJ Peltz - "Grace over Colors" and "Mountain Dance
CJ Peltz joined our Parklane community of artists in May 2012. and resides and works in the Pacific Northwest. He is a figurative sculptor as well as a two dimensional artist excelling in fine art abstract collages and encaustic paintings: He strives in all his art to accentuate the beautiful curves of the figure.
CJ’s most recent two-dimensional work is figurative as found in nature, often highlighting human figures and occasionally animals: His more recent three dimensional works continue to be figurative sculptures, in which realism is blended with abstract settings.
As the only child of an engineer and an artist, CJ grew up being an artist taught by his mother, who was an oil painter. He took a 25-year break to become a successful computer engineer. Now he has continued his life’s journey to become a professional fine artist and sculptor.
CJ’s art is owned by businesses and in private collections in homes. His works have appeared in multiple shows and publications, both locally and nationally, and have won multiple awards including a First Place award at the CVG show currently in Bremerton with his sculpture, "Vertigo".
