Paul will be showing his collection of welded steel sculptures that combine simple design, geometric shapes and a touch of color.

His solo show at Parklane Gallery runs through March 4th.

PARKLANE ARTISTS' AWARDS AND SHOWS

Rosemary Tyksinski’s photographs have been chosen as cover art for the first and third in a series of (get ready) Civil War vampire novels.

As a participant in the Eastside Association of Fine Arts public venue program, Marne Jensen will be exhibiting her artwork at the Bellevue Public Library and at Overlake Hospital during February, March and April.

Larey McDaniel, Hilda Bordianu, Joan Frey and Lois Haskell have been selected by the Eastside Association of Fine Artists (EAFA) to show their winter themed work at the Gardens at Town Square, at 933 111th Avene Northeast in Bellevue from through Wednesday April 4.

Yiota Georgas, Del Hoffman, Larey McDaniel and Parklane's current 3-D guest artist, Paul Chae have been juried into the Eastside Association of Fine Arts 2012 Abstract Open Juried Show, a statewide juried art exhibition for abstract artists specializing in 2D and 3D artwork. The show runs through February 24 at the EAFA Gallery, Suite P292 in the Seattle Design Center's Plaza Center Building - 5701 Sixth Avenue South, Seattle 98108. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm with receptions on Thursday Jan 19 and February 16, 5pm to 8pm. Parklane Gallery artists Laif Bannon and Mary Mac are two of the co-chairs for the show.

Yiota Georgas will be displaying a variety of her work at the Women Painters of Washington Macy's Gallery on the 6th floor of the Downtown Seattle Macy's Store through February 28th.

Susanne Werner has three pieces In the show "Observations" at the Women Painters Gallery.The show will run through April 29. The Women Painters Gallery is at the Columbia Center Building, 701 5th Avenue, Suite 310 in Seattle. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 11 am to 4 pm.

She has also been invited by Sue St. John to be part of an upcoming book entitled " A Walk into Abstraction" Vol 5. Several of Susanne's recent works are considered for publication, plus a page of information about the painting process and biographical information. The book will be published later next year.

In addition, Susanne has been invited to be a panelist on four Saturdays after the matinee perfomance of "Red" a play about Mark Rothko at the Seattle Repertory Theater. Other panelists will be art historians, other artists, students and an instructor from Gage Academy.
